BLM Resource Advisory Council to Meet
The Bureau of Land Management’s Eastern Montana Resource Advisory Council will meet Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007 at the Wagon Wheel Grill located on Highway 212 in Alzada.
The meeting starts at 9:00 a.m. and is open to the public. Council discussion topics will include Billings and Miles City Field Office updates as well as various ongoing resource management issues.
Interested persons may make oral statements before the council during the public comment period which starts at 11:00 a.m. and ends at 12:00 noon. A time limit may be established depending on the number of persons wishing to address the council. Written statements may also be filed for the council to consider.
The purpose of the council is to advise the Secretary of the Interior through the BLM on a variety of issues associated with public land management. For more information contact BLM RAC Coordinator Mark Jacobsen at (406)233-2831.
