Date:  September 5, 2007 Contact:  Marilyn Krause, (406) 533-7617  Comment Period on Draft Butte Resource Management Plan Extended to October 9 To allow the public and other agencies ample time to review and comment on the Draft Resource Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement prepared for BLM-managed lands in the Butte Field Office, the comment deadline has been extended to October 9.   Written comments must be received by the Butte BLM by close of business 4:30 p.m. October 9, 2007, to be considered. Send written comments to: Tim LaMarr, BLM Butte Field Office, 106 N. Parkmont, Butte, Montana 59701 or fax comments to the Butte office at (406) 533-7660. Email comments may be sent to MT_Butte_RMP@blm.gov.   The BLM lands administered by the Butte Field Office are located in Broadwater, Lewis & Clark, Jefferson, Silver Bow, Deer Lodge, Park, Gallatin, and a small portion of Beaverhead County.
