 Fire Restrictions Dropped in Yellowstone and Surrounding Counties

Fire restrictions on private, state and federal lands in Stillwater, Treasure and Yellowstone counties will be lifted early Wed. morning, Oct. 3. 

Restrictions have already been dropped in Bighorn, Carbon, Musselshell, and Sweet Grass counties.

Please continue to use caution when working and recreating outdoors. Before burning such things as slash piles, ditches, or fields, please contact your local fire department or sheriff’s office for more information and to obtain any necessary permits.
