Date:  November 6, 2007 Contact: Travis Lipp, 605-720-0747 or 605-210-0741  South Dakota BLM Still Offering Firewood  The Bureau of Land Management is still offering firewood west of the National Cemetery near Sturgis.    About 40 cords of wood are cut into 10-20 foot lengths and piled less than half a mile from Interstate 90.  Interested parties need to purchase a firewood permit from the South Dakota Field Office.  Permits cost $5 per cord with a four cord minimum. Instructions and directions on how to get to the firewood will be given upon purchase of the permit.   The South Dakota Field Office is located at 310 Roundup Street in Belle Fourche.  For further information call Travis Lipp in the South Dakota Field Office at (605) 720-0747 or (605) 210-0741.   ###
