INFORMATION MEETING PLANNED FOR PROPOSED BIG HOLE RIVER
LAND EXCHANGE

The Dillon Field Office of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) invites interested individuals to a proposed land exchange informational meeting on May 31 at 7 p.m. at the BLM Office conference room, 1005 Selway Drive.

“At the meeting BLM will discuss the exchange proposed by the Hagenbarths and provide an opportunity for the public to offer comments and concerns,” stated Rich Maggio, Assistant Field Manager.

The exchange proposal involves BLM acquiring land of high public and wildlife values along the Big Hole River about 15 miles north of Dillon in exchange for land of lower public value. Exact acreage figures would be determined through the appraisal process.

For more information about the proposal or the meeting, contact Realty Specialist Angela Brown at the Dillon Field Office, 683-8045.
