Date:  August 29, 2007 Contact:  Dennis Teitzel, 406-533-7618 Whitaker Bridge to be Closed for Repairs  The Whitaker Bridge will be closed from September 4 until October 15, 2007, so that the Bureau of Land Management Missoula Field Office can repair the bridge abutments and perform other maintenance.             The bridge is located approximately seven miles down Johnsrud Park Road off of Montana Highway 200 between Bonner and Potomac.   During the closure, areas beyond the Whitaker Bridge are accessible via Ninemile Prairie Road off of Montana Highway 200 just north of Greenough.   ###
