<<Back to Dillon Recreation Trapper Springs Recreation AreaTrapper Springs Recreation Area is intended for group use. The day use area has a large pavilion with parking for 20 vehicles. The pavilion can be reserved for groups ($50/day) by calling the Dillon Field Office at 406-683-8000. The day use area also offers a wheelchair accessible trail to the river. The campground has 15 camping sites with two accessible vault toilets. Organized Group permits are required for groups larger than 15 people. Activities: Camping, fishing, hiking, and picnicking. There is no boat launch available at this site. Facilities: Fifteen campsites, 3 accessible vault toilets, parking, drinking water, wheelchair accessible trail, pavilion and picnic area. Location/Access: Just off State Hwy 84, south of the highway, approximately 25 miles northeast of Ennis and approximately 25 southwest of Bozeman. Fees: $8/night, $5/additional vehicle up to three vehicles maximum per site. No fee for designated day-use areas. Group use pavilion may be reserved $50/day. Must occupy campsites nightly.
