Ruby Reservoir Recreation Site

Located on the eastern shore of Ruby Reservoir, this mostly undeveloped recreation site provides access to fishing, boating, and camping. The reservoir was developed to supply irrigation water to ranches and is subject to large fluctuations in water levels. Because of its remote location, the area receives only moderate use. Garnets can be collected along the shoreline. Activities: Fishing, camping, boating. Facilities: Vault toilet. Location/Access: From Montana 287, turn south at Alder on Road 357.
