Red Mountain Campground is adjacent to the Madison River and provides good access for camping, fishing and picnics. The campground has 17 camping sites and 2 day use parking areas. The site includes a volunteer seasonal campground host. Activities: Camping, fishing, hiking, picnicking, and sightseeing. There is no boat launch available at this site. Facilities: 17 campsites, 3 accessible vault toilets, drinking water, horseshoe pits, and picnic area. Location/Access: Just off State Hwy 84, north side of the Highway, approximately 25 miles northeast of Ennis, and approximately 25 miles southwest of Bozeman.Fees: $8/night, $5/additional vehicle up to three vehicles maximum per site. No fee for designated day-use areas. For large groups please use Trapper Springs Recreation Area group use area.
