Hunting

Excellent hunting opportunities are available in Idaho for big game and upland game birds, including mule deer, antelope, chukar and sage grouse.  All motorized vehicles, including ATVs used for hunting, should use existing or designated vehicle routes.  To protect wildlife, reduce erosion and prevent the spread of weeds, please don’t travel cross-country or create new vehicle tracks.

For more information on hunting regulations and Mule deerlicense information, please contact the Idaho Department of Fish and Game.  Commercial hunting outfitters must be licensed by the State of Idaho and permitted by the BLM. For outfitter licensing information, visit the Idaho Outfitters and Guides Licensing Board website.

Find out more about the proper placement of big game hunting blinds.

During hunting season, please be aware of designated wilderness boundaries.
