Lost Lake Trail

Description: This trail ascends to Lost Lake in the Grandmother Mountain Wilderness Study Area. The scenic alpine lake contains cutthroat trout. Undeveloped camping is allowed. The trail starts as a two-track road, is open to motorized use (ATVs and motorcycles), and is suitable for four-wheelers for 2 miles.

Directions: About 16 miles south of Avery, Idaho
From Avery take Forest road 301 south for 13 miles, then Forest Road 216 east for one mile and Forest Road 1925 south for 2 miles.

Trailhead Location: Mouth of Lost Lake Creek at Forest Road 1925
