Deadman Hole Recreation Site

A deep pool below a rocky cliff here gives this site its name. It accommodates numerous campers and is adjacent to the scenic Salmon River which gives anglers access to great fishing opportunities. Use caution because all access and interior roads are rough dirt in this area.

Location: 12 miles southwest of Challis, Idaho. Travel south from Challis on Highway 93 for 2 miles, turn right on Highway 75 and drive southwest for approximately 12 miles. Site is on the river side of Highway 75 between the river and the highway.
