Public Room personnel assist with searches of available files, microfiche, plats, etc.  Tutorials and personal assistance with "hands-on" computer equipment are also available.

You may request copies of records and documents by telephoning (208) 373-3890 or by sending your request in writing to Department of the Interior-BLM, Attn: Public Room, 1387 S. Vinnell Way, Boise, Idaho 83709. Copy charges vary depending upon the request. Please see our Fee Page for a complete list of charges.

Case files may be checked out for review (no more than 10 files at a time). In some instances, files may be unavailable because of internal work requirements on pending cases.

Payment may be made by check, money order or credit card. Call our Accounts Section at (208) 373-3893 for information about establishing a Declining Deposit Account if you will be a frequent customer. Make all remittances payable to U.S. Department of the Interior-BLM.
