Upcoming Idaho Wild Horse Adoptions

Boise, Idaho

On Saturday, September 26, Idaho BLM will participate in a National Wild Horse and Burro Adoption Day from 8 am to 3 pm.  The adoption will be held at the Boise BLM Wild Horse Corrals on Pleasant Valley Road south of Boise.  Please call Jessica Gardetto (208) 373-4060 for more information. 

Additional Information

  • 25 horses will be available at each adoption.
  • All horses gathered from the Challis HMA.
  • A buddy horse can be adopted for $25.00 after adopting a horse for $125.00.

Directions to the Boise BLM Wild Horse Corrals: From I-84 – Exit on Orchard St. (Exit 52) and go south for approximately 1.7 miles, this turns into W. Gowen Road. Continue for 0.5 mile. Turn right (south) on Pleasant Valley Road and go approximately 4 miles. Turn right at the “Wild Horse Corrals.”
