Proposed China Mountain Wind Project

The BLM is preparing an environmental impact statement (EIS) for the proposed China Mountan wind energy project. 

The Draft EIS and Draft Resource Management (RMP) Amendment were published on April 8, 2011, and was open for public comment, through July 6, 2011.

The BLM held public meetings to discuss the Draft EIS and take public comments.  Dates, times and locations are noted below and on the "Public Meetings" link in the navigation box.
