Travel Management

North Highway 20
Travel Management Plan

The BLM is developing a travel management plan (TMP) for all the public lands it manages north of Highway 20.  The planning area is bounded on the west by Chimney Creek and on the east by Craters of the Moon/Fish Creek. This effort expands on the Blaine County Recreation and Travel Plan recommendations for the Wood River Valley and will address both summer and winter travel.

After viewing the scoping documents and associated maps, please submit any comments or additional information you may have.  Please remember to use the comment sheet

The BLM is interested in your comments on the following:

  • Off-highway vehicle (OHV) area designations (open, limited and closed)
  • Proposed individual route designations and closures
  • Winter seasonal motorized restriction areas
