Group 5

Group 5 - Morgan includes 19 grazing allotments, located in the Big Boulder, Jordan Creek, Rock Creek and Soldier Creek watersheds in western Owyhee County, Idaho. The planning area encompasses about 29,770 acres of public land.


CURRENT STATUS | In December 2013, the BLM issued final decisions renewing the grazing permits associated with the Group 5 (Morgan) allotments. In March 2014, the BLM issued a final decision for the Feltwell allotment, which was not part of the Owyhee 68 allotments but was processed with the Owyhee 68 Group 5 allotments. In January 2014, the BLM received 39 appeals and stay requests of the final decisions. In May, the BLM received an appeal and stay request for the Feltwell final decision.
