The BLM released final decisions for the Owyhee 68 Group 4 allotments in December 2013 and the Sheep Creek, South Dougal, and Dougal FFR allotments in March 2014. Group 4

Group 4 - South Mountain includes seven allotments, located in the in the Big Boulder, North Fork Owyhee, Soldier Creek and Trout Creek-Jordan Creek watersheds in western Owyhee County, Idaho. The planning area encompasses about 12,600 acres of public land in the Dougal FFR, South Dougal, South Mountain Area, Sheep Creek, Lequerica FFR, McKay FFR and Wilson Creek FFR allotments.

CURRENT STATUS | In December 2013, the BLM issued final decisions renewing the grazing permits associated with the Owyhee 68 Group 4 (South Mountain) allotments. In March 2014, the BLM issued final decisions for the Sheep Creek, South Dougal, and Dougal FFR allotments, which were not part of the Owyhee 68 allotments but were processed with the Owyhee 68 Group 4 allotments. In January 2014, the BLM received nine appeals and stay requests of the Owyhee 68 Group 4 final decisions. In May 2014, the BLM received two appeals and stay requests of the Sheep Creek, South Dougal, and Dougal FFR allotments.
