Group 3

Group 3 - Toy Mountain includes 20 grazing allotments located in the Big Boulder, Castle Creek, Rock Creek, and Swan Falls-Snake River watersheds in western Owyhee County, Idaho. The planning area encompasses about 135,425 acres of public land.


CURRENT STATUS | On December 30, 2013, the BLM issued final decisions renewing the grazing permits associated with the Owyhee 68 Group 3 (Toy Mountain) allotments. On March 28, 2014, BLM released final decisions for the Red Hill FFR, Moore FFR, Fossil Creek, and Pickett Creek allotments, which were not part of the Owyhee 68 allotments but were processed with the Owyhee 68 Group 3 allotments. In January 2014, BLM received 32 appeals and stay requests of the Owyhee 68 Group 3 final decisions. In May 2014, BLM received seven appeals and stay requests of the Red Hill FFR, Moore FFR, Fossil Creek, and Pickett Creek allotments.
