Group 2

Group 2 includes 25 allotments located in the Jump Creek, Succor Creek, and Cow Creek watersheds in western Owyhee County, Idaho. The planning area encompasses about 120,000 acres of public land in 25 allotments.


CURRENT STATUS | In December 2013, the BLM issued final decisions renewing the grazing permits associated with the Group 2 (Jump Creek, Cow Creek, and Succor Creek watersheds) allotments. In January and February 2014,  BLM received 33 appeals and stay requests of the final decisions. BLM is awaiting rulings on these appeals from the Department of Interior Office of Hearings and Appeals (OHA).
