Swan Falls

The Snake River meanders along the southern border of the Morley Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area.  Enjoy spots for boating (motorized and non-motorized), camping, fishing, hiking, hunting, picnicking, scenic viewing and waterskiing.

Location: South of Kuna, follow Swan Falls Road for approximately 10 miles to Swan Falls Dam.

Boat put-in: below Swan Falls Dam
take-out: Celebration Park

  • Ideal flows: 3,000-40,000 cfs
  • Year-round use
  • Craft Type: raft, kayak, canoe, drift boat, jet boat
  • Difficulty: Class II rapids
  • Shuttle: 12 miles
