CJ Strike Reservoir

This 7,500-acre reservoir area impounds the Snake and Bruneau Rivers and offers fishing, boating and camping, with camp units, restrooms and potable water.  The site is the beginning of a day of hiking, horseback riding, hunting, picnicking, swimming, water skiing, and wildlife viewing.

Location: 21 miles south of Mountain Home, Idaho.  Travel south from Mountain Home on Hwy. 51 for 21 miles to Bruneau, then go west.

Fees/Facilities:

  • No fees for BLM facilities; other operators may charge fees
