Boise District Resource Advisory Council

The 15-member RAC advises and makes recommendations to the BLM on resource and land management issues for approximately 5.4 million acres of federal public lands in southwestern Idaho.
The Council formed a subcommittee to work on remaining issues surrounding siting of the Gateway West transmission line in portions of the Boise District to examine options for resolving siting issues associated with segments 8 and 9 of the transmission line. Their reports were submitted to the full RAC on June 5, 2014.
