Boise District Resource Advisory Council 

Members | Charter 

The 15-member RAC advises and makes recommendations to the BLM on resource and land management issues for approximately 5.4 million acres of federal public lands in southwestern Idaho. 

The Council formed a subcommittee to work on remaining issues surrounding siting of the Gateway West transmission line in portions of the Boise District. 

The subcommittee examined options for resolving siting issues associated with segments 8 and 9 of the transmission line.  Their reports were submitted to the full RAC on 
June 5, 2014.
