General Location 
About 8 miles northwest of Arco, Idaho; west of Big Lost River Valley and east of Lost River

Natural Features 
Mountainous - Crawford Peak (elevation 8,523 feet) rises almost 2,900 feet above Antelope Valley. Several canyons with impressive outcroppings and caves.  Douglas-fir, chokecherry, mountain mahogany, aspen and willow, with sagebrush and grass on lower-elevation rounded hills.
