Under authority of the Recreation Enhancement Act, and with approval of the BLM Idaho Falls Resource Advisory Committee, the BLM has begun collecting fees for day use of the Egin Lakes Access Recreation Site.

Fees charged for overnight camping remain the same.

These standard amenity fees went into effect on June 16, 2011: 
   ♦  $5.00 per vehicle per day 

    ♦  Season pass available for $60.

    ♦  $10.00 per use at RV dump station

Fees must be paid on entry 
at the self-service pay station.


Holders of a Federal Interagency Recreation Pass
 are not required to pay the day use fee.

In the summer of 2010, the access road at Egin Lakes was sealcoated as part of preventive maintenance funded with an allocation under the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009.
