Smokey Cubs Recreation Site

This campground sits at the base of the Beaverhead Mountains, which rise from the grasslands of the Lemhi Valley and are covered with Douglas fir and lodgepole pine. The Nee-Me-Poo National Historic Trail runs nearby from the northeast after it crosses the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail. Recreational opportunities include camping, biking, fishing, hiking/backpacking, horseback riding, OHV-riding, picnicking, scenic driving and wildlife viewing.

Directions: Located 4 miles northeast of Leadore, Idaho on Highway 29 near Bannock Pass.
From Leadore, go 3 miles east on ID-29.
