McFarland Campground

These campsites lie along the Lemhi River. The nearby Lemhi Valley lies between the Beaverhead Mountains and the Lemhi Range, where the river creates a riparian zone in an otherwise arid region. Both mountain ranges are part of the Salmon National Forest and have excellent opportunities for fishing and camping.

Directions: 33 miles south of Salmon, Idaho on Highway 28
