Land Donation along the Salmon River: The BLM has acquired a 33-acre parcel along the Salmon River, north of the town of Salmon, through a donation by Orofino, Idaho resident Dale Cox.  The donation provides legal public access to the river and management opportunities for enhancing riparian and wildlife values.

Travel Planning in Salmon: The Salmon Field Office has started a process to gather public input into their travel planning effort.  While the planning process is underway, unless designated closed, all motorized use on public lands within this field office is limited to existing roads and trails and/or designated roads and trails. See the Travel Management website for current information.  Or look at the current Salmon Area BLM Travel Guide: front back
