General Location: 100 miles south of Boise, Idaho.

Natural Features: Sensitive wildlife species, green plant communities, historic and prehistoric archeological sites and scenic values including sheer cliffs, canyons and grass-covered slopes.

Total Acres: 9,990

Acres Supported by BLM for Wilderness Designation: 9,550

Rationale for BLM’s Recommendation: Natural beauty of the 13 miles of scenic canyon and 7,550 acres of surrounding plateaus would enhance the National Wilderness Preservation System.
