Jarbidge River Put-In

Due to wildfires is recent years, there is a high probability that you will find  Bruneau and Jarbidge River channels obstructed with log and debris hazards.  The 2007 Murphy Complex Fires burned portions of the Jarbidge and West Fork Bruneau River corridors and surrounding uplands.

In June 2009, the Jarbidge River became obstructed by debris approximately ½ mile below Sevy Falls, requiring portage. Please anticipate changing conditions and use caution.  Contact the Field Office prior to your visit to be familiar with the latest local conditions.

Two-wheel drive vehicles are sufficient to reach the put-in, located at the confluence of the West Fork and East Fork of the Jarbidge River about two miles north of Murphy Hot Springs.
