Jarbidge River Put-In
Due to wildfires is recent years, there is a high probability that you will find Bruneau and Jarbidge River channels obstructed with log and debris hazards. The 652,000-acre Murphy Complex Fires that burned in 2007 included portions of the Jarbidge and West Fork Bruneau River corridors and surrounding uplands. Be cautious and play safe.
June 2009 - The Jarbidge River is obstructed by debris, approximately ½ mile below Sevy Falls. Portage around the obstructed portion of the river is required. Please use caution on the river.
Two-wheel drive vehicles are sufficient to reach the Jarbidge River put in, located at the confluence of the West Fork and East Fork of the Jarbidge River about two miles north of Murphy Hot Springs.
Directions: Murphy Hot Springs can be reached via the Bruneau-Three Creek Road and/or the Jarbidge Road. The Jarbidge Road, also called Three Creek Highway, has an asphalt surface and originates from U.S. 93 at Rogerson, Idaho.
