Cove Recreation Site

Experience the magnificent scenery throughout this area and spend time camping in the Birds of Prey National Conservation Area. Popular activities include fishing, hiking, camping, wildlife viewing, boating (motorized and non-motorized), waterskiing, swimming and picnicking. Cove Recreation Site has day use and overnight camping facilities on the south shore of C.J. Strike Resevoir about one mile east of the dam. Use Fees are charged for day and overnight use. Self-service fee stations are located near the entrance to Cove Campground and at the end of Buford Road (see Map).
 

Detailed camping rules

Location: 45 miles south of Boise, Idaho. From Grand View, travel southeast on Highway 78 approximately 15 miles.
