Beehive Bend (South Fork)This popular stretch of the South Fork Payette River is visited by recreation enthusiasts for kayaking, rafting, canoeing and swimming.Trip Length: Ten miles from Banks

Put-in: Banks, Confluence, or Deer Creek

Take-out: Beehive Bend

How to get there: On Highway 55, six miles north of Horseshoe Bend.

  • Non-motorized boating
  • Regulations/permits only for competitive events
  • Parking: $3/day; $20/ annual pass
  • Ideal flows: 6,000-10,000 cfs (Horseshoe Bend Gauge)
  • Difficulty: Class IV rapids
ConfluenceThe Payette River offers many opportunities for different adventures including kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. Motorized and non-motorized boating is allowed. Rafting-enthusiasts can expect rapids of varying difficulties.Six miles east of Banks, Idaho
