Chief Parrish Recreation Site

Chief Parrish Recreation Site is a small site located on the east side of the scenic Payette River. The site offers opportunities for picnicking and fishing along the river and is used by kayakers for launch or take-out.

Location: East side of Payette River about two miles north of Beehive Bend. On Highway 55, approximately eight miles north of Horseshoe Bend.

Fees/Facilities:

  • Use season: Spring, Summer, Fall
  • Picnic area
  • Pit Toilet
  • Stairs to Payette River
  • Fee: Parking $3/day or $20/annual pass
