Marshall Mountain WSA

General Location 
22 miles (air) east of Riggins, Idaho

Natural Features 
A rugged, mountainous landscape frequently broken by perennial and intermittent drainages. Heavy mixed-conifer forest occasionally interrupted by talus slopes and rock outcrops.  Elevations range from 8,400+ feet at the summit of Marshall Mountain to 3,600 feet in Long Tom Creek. All streams in the area flow through the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness and drain into the Salmon River.
