Heller Bar

The site lies along the Lower Snake River, surrounded by semi-arid mountain peaks. It is the primary take-out spot for Lower Salmon River floaters, and is a primary launch site for power boats into Hells Canyon. Motorized and non-motorized boats are used here.

Directions: About 21 miles south of Asotin, Washington.
