McKay's Bend Recreation Site

(formerly Myrtle Recreation Site)

Located along the Clearwater River, this site is managed jointly by the BLM and the Idaho Department of Fish and Game. The campground accommodates RVs and tents, and provides river access.

Location: 15 miles east of Lewiston, Idaho

Facilities/Fees:

Developed campground
$18/night for full RV hookups (15 sites)
$10/night for tent sites (2 large sites and several sites within large grassy area)
$4/night for additional vehicles
Picnic sites on concrete slab with tables and small BBQ grills
Maximum 14-day stay
Fire rings
Restrooms with flush toilets
Drinking water and showers
Year-round use
Permits are required for commercial use, competitive use,
special area use and organized group activity and event use

When the group pavilion is complete, it may be reserved for a $50 fee.

Fees collected at this site will be used for maintenance and future improvements at this site.
