Blue Creek Bay (Wallace Forest Conservation Area)

The BLM acquired this 750-acre area along the northern shore of Lake Coeur d’Alene in 1998. Visitors exploring groves of Douglas fir, cedar, hemlock and pine may also catch a glimpse of native wildlife – wild turkeys, whitetail deer, coyotes, bears, meadowlarks, and woodpeckers.

Location: six miles east of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho
