Crystal Lake Trail #2 Hike

Sheep Springs

This scenic rugged trail provides alternative access to Crystal Lake. Starting as a two-track jeep trail it climbs to a saddle and then descends to the lake. It is closed to motorized use and is not well suited for equestrian or bicycling activities.

Directions: About 55 miles southeast of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
US-90 east from Coeur d’Alene for 25 miles to the Cataldo exit (exit 40) then south on Latour Creek/Rochat Divide Road for 30 miles.

Trailhead Location: Rochat Road – one mile south of Sheep Springs
