Crystal Lake Trail Hike

Sheep Springs

This high elevation rugged backcountry trail provides foot access to Crystal Lake. It is dangerous and not suitable for motorized, equestrian or bicycling activities. Primitive camping developments are located at the trail head. Undeveloped camping is allowed at the lake.

Directions: About 54 miles southeast of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. 
US-90 east from Coeur d’Alene for 25 miles to the Cataldo Exit (exit 40) then south on Latour Creek/Rochat Divide Road for 29 miles to Sheep Springs

Trailhead location: Sheep Springs Recreation Site
