Lake Coeur d’Alene offers plenty of opportunities for jet skiing, water skiing and sailing. The Coeur d’Alene lake area contains nine separate recreation sites and includes highly developed boat ramps, primitive boat docks, scenic overlooks, picnic areas, picnic shelters, trails, campsites and boat-in only sites. Sites near Coeur d’Alene Lake include Blackwell Island Recreational Site, Killarney Lake Boat Launch, Mica Bay Boater Park, Windy Bay Boater Park, Popcorn Island and Mineral Ridge Boat Launch. For those looking for a different adventure, Gamlin Lake offers an undeveloped boat access for small craft.

The Idaho Invasive Species Law and Boater Registration
Under the new law, any boat that is registered in Idaho or another state, and any non-motorized vessel (canoe, kayak, raft, drift boat, etc.) will be required to purchase and display IISF stickers in order to legally launch and operate in Idaho. Inflatable, non-motorized vessels must be less than 10 feet in length to be exempted from this requirement.
