This recreation site opened in 2003 providing boat access to Coeur d’Alene Lake and the Spokane River. Amenities include a large scale day-use and fully accessible development which offers modern facilities to accommodate high visitor use levels. Boating components include 4 launch lanes, 130 vehicle-with-trailer parking spaces, 34 single vehicle parking spaces and 520 linear feet of boarding and short term moorage dock. Additional facilities include a group picnic shelter, individual picnic units and an elevated boardwalk trail with wildlife viewing decks.
Directions: Coeur d’Alene, Idaho along the Spokane River near the outlet of Coeur d’Alene Lake. From Coeur d’Alene, take Highway 95 south. Entrance is the first right after crossing the Spokane River
Facilities/Fees:
- Day use area only from mid-May through mid-October
The boat launch is open when water levels in Lake Coeur d'Alene allow safe boat launching; typically from just before the Memorial Day weekend through the Columbus Day holiday - second Monday in October. - Daily Parking Fee: $4
- Seasonal Parking Pass/Boat Launch Fee: $30 (also valid for use at BLM Mineral Ridge Boat Launch in Wolf Lodge Bay)

The Idaho Invasive Species Law and Boater Registration
Under the new law, any boat that is registered in Idaho or another state, and any non-motorized vessel (canoe, kayak, raft, drift boat, etc.) will be required to purchase and display IISF stickers in order to legally launch and operate in Idaho. Inflatable, non-motorized vessels must be less than 10 feet in length to be exempted from this requirement.
