Little Boulder Recreation Site

This campground is adjacent to the East Fork Salmon River, near the Sawtooth National Recreation Area and is often used as a staging area for the Boulder-White Clouds Trail.

Location: About 35 miles from Challis, Idaho. Travel south from Challis on Highway 93 for 2 miles. Turn right on Highway 75 and travel approximately 17 miles to the East Fork Salmon River Road. Turn left and stay on that road for approximately 20 miles. Little Boulder Recreation Site will be on your immediate left.

Facilities/Fees:
• Less developed campground
• Camping fee: $6/night
• 3 campsites with picnic tables and unimproved fire rings
• Drinking water
• Picnic area
• 1 vault toilet
• Potable water (hand pump)
• Trailhead parking
• Year-round use
• Winter access is dependent upon road closure status
