Named for an old mining community, this site along the Salmon River offers plentiful fishing and a concrete boating ramp.

Location: Approximately 10 miles southwest of Challis, Idaho: travel south from Challis on Highway 93 for 2 miles, turn right onto Highway 75 and drive southwest for approximately 8 miles. The site will be on your right between the highway and the Salmon River.

Facilities/Fees:
• 11 campsites
• Camping fee: $10/night
• Boat ramp and day use parking area
• Drinking water
• 1 double vault toilet
• Garbage collection
• Interpretative panels
• RV/bus parking
• Use season: year-round
• No horses allowed in camp area
