The Salmon Falls Dam, built in 1910 to provide water for irrigation to farms, has formed this lake, which has become an important recreation area. Ice fishing in January and February. This is the premier walleye fishery in Idaho, and trophy catches are common. Hunting for antelope and upland game birds.
