Yuma Myotis
Yuma Myotis bats are pale brown, with a darker brown face and ears. These bats love to live near calm or “slack” water, where they can fly swiftly just above the water’s surface to catch small insects like moths or mayflies.

Yuma Myotis bats’ summer roosts include crevices in cliffs, old buildings, mines, caves, bridges, and abandoned cliff swallow nests. These bats have been found in many states, including Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and even central Mexico.
