Black Canyon WSA

General Location 
About 8 miles northeast of Howe, Idaho

Natural Features 
Rocky canyons, massive cliffs and thrust faults. Sagebrush, forbs and grasses on lower slopes and canyon bottoms; patches of juniper and small stands of Douglas-fir at higher elevations.  Rock climbers use  canyon roads to get to limestone climbing walls.   Hunters use these same roads to reach big and upland game.
