Areas of Interest
The Upper Snake Field Office manages some of the most unique and spectacular lands in the National System of Public Lands.
The Snake River corridor is world-renowned for its wildlife and scenery as well as camping, boating and fishing that attract visitors from around the globe. Similar pursuits lead visitors to lands and lakes on the northern portion of the area, which is part of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
The Snake River Plain's volcanic history and unique geology is also evidenced, from the Menan Buttes to the St. Anthony Sand Dunes.
