Corral-Horse Basin WSA

20 miles south of Challis, Idaho
Natural Features
Rolling hills surround Corral and Horse basins, dominated by Anderson Peak (9,342 feet). Vegetation is predominantly sagebrush and grass with stringers of timber on streams, sideslopes, and bottoms. This area is also the central home range of the Challis wild horse herd. Fragile soil is present in the Sand Hollow Area.
