Rough, rocky terrain with moderately steep/steep slopes, sparsely covered with sagebrush/grass vegetation. Outstanding geologic evidence of the 1983 Challis Earthquake.  Spectacular views of Borah Peak, the highest point in Idaho (12,655 feet), and outstanding opportunities for solitude.
